And her vision of the world, maybe as a way of survival, is the one of humor, expressed in a rainbow of colors that go from simple to sarcastic. She portrays with an amazing irony the ridiculous, the curious and the memorable. Her cartoons are a true catalog of feelings, emotion and footnotes to put in your heart at the end of the day. She needs very few outlines to catch the complexity of the human being and to say frequently in an urgent matter: “be serious…laugh”.

To illustrate is to give birth to understanding. To help see things from a different angle by changing perspective because sometimes that is what we need to feel better. And amongst the things Eva knows how to do, is precisely to use perspective.

The task of turning ideas into images is without a doubt job of artists. People who combine talent and work in order to synthesize in two dimensions what the human soul thinks, feels or needs in its constant search for communication. But when work comes from heart, the image gets a force of expression, which separates it from the ordinary and raises it into the category of work of art.
